Khy is about to be introduced to the world with Kylie Jenner.
The 26-year-old founder of Kylie Cosmetics revealed where she got the inspiration for the brand’s name in a video that was posted on Instagram on Friday, ahead of the official launch of her latest fashion line.
In the video, she is shown exploring a hotel while sporting a number of her new Khy outfits. Her voice can be heard asking a waiter in the background, “Could the you kindly just fetch me a coffee? I come for my new brand, which I find difficult to express in French. I just find it hard to talk about.
The Kardashians star is then seen wandering through Paris’s streets sporting a long black jacket and matching boots, saying in a voiceover, “I once sneaked into Paris. I had four days to wander the streets without being spotted. I simply went to every restaurant and pub and sat outside.”
The video concludes with Jenner wearing a black Khy dress and stepping inside what looks to be a Parisian restaurant. She answers “Khy” to the barman who asks “What’s your name?” as she relaxes in and enjoys a coffee.
Earlier in the week, she posted an Instagram photo of herself wearing a long faux leather trench coat to mark the debut of her fashion business. “The opening of Khy,” she captioned the photo.
The founder of Kylie Cosmetics, along with her sister Kendall Jenner and their close friend Hailey Bieber, among others, celebrated the launch of their new fashion label at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica on Thursday.
